Facial massage takes about half an hour. In physiological sense, the massage works directly (locally) and indirectly through reflexes to the central nervous system. Its local action, directly on the tissues we massaging, causes skin redness, arousal, circulatory system. This gives better oxygenation, because the arterial blood supply to these massaged areas increases. The massage also slightly exfoliates the stratum corneum, facilitates skin respiration and faster absorption of the applied formulations. The mechanism of irritation of upper layers of skin stimulates them to regenerate, strengthens elasticity of skin and muscles, preventing the formation of wrinkles.
     In the indirect sense, massage stimulates the general blood and lymphatic system, improving muscles and heart function also affect the nervous and hormonal systems.
